Waipuna Outfit for Production and Details

image

All you need to know...

For our segment of the Isleworth School production of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' we will be dressed as growing beans.

There have been a few further questions to the information we have sent out previously so we hope this clarifies everything for you.

What is needed for each child in Waipuna for the production?

Green Outfit: green coloured clothing (upper body and lower body) as per the example pictures in this article.

To clarify...

  • This can be in the form of a t-shirt, long sleeved top, track pants, shorts, leggings.

  • We’ve heard it has been quite a challenge to find green pants. If you are truly stuck, your child can wear black trousers.

  • Plastic vine (no flowers, just leaves), enough to be wrapped around your child’s outfit. (This can be found at K-mart very cheap; $4 for 2.5 metres?!)

What is needed by this Friday 7th September?

  • Green outfit - all items labelled and named put inside a bag with your child's name on it.

  • Plastic vine(s) - named and put inside the named bag.

  • Your items will be checked this Friday 7th and then will be sent home on the Monday 10th, the day of the Production. The reason it will come home on the day of the Production is so that your child can come to the Production night dressed in their green outfit ready to perform.

What is needed for Production night?

  • All children must arrive in their required costume.

  • Parents/caregivers are not allowed backstage at any time before, during or after the show.

  • At the end of the show Waipuna children will be seated together in the audience. For safety reasons YOU MUST SIGN OUT YOUR CHILD AT THE END OF THE PRODUCTION with your child's teacher.

When should you drop off your child?

  • Teams Awa, Moana and Waipuna students must arrive at 5:45pm at the Green Room entrance.

If there is anything from that you would like clarified please feel free to pop in and see us, send us a note in your child's Home Fun book or email us.

Thank you for all your help from home in preparing for this. We're all looking forward to an awesome night!
