Today the Waipuna Team talked about how words can hurt. We said nice compliments to an apple and then unkind words to another. When we cut into the apples we saw that while on the outside the apples looked the same on the inside the bruises showed. We are learning how important it is to think about what we say!
After the apple activity we talked about who we can talk to if we are being bullied. We drew around our hand and wrote five names of people who can help us. It is important to know that we are not alone and that there are people we can talk to.By Tracy Brown
