Junior Final Assembly

Thanks to all who came to our Junior Final Assembly. The juniors had a great time learning these songs, practicing their moves and singing their hearts out all for YOU! We hope you had a great time and "We wish you a Merry Christmas!"

Beach Education- Help Needed

A Beach Education notice went home last week about our Beach Education day. This is coming up on Thursday 7th December. We NEED helpers please. This day is a fabulous experience for the children to learn about keeping safe at the beach but we need a ratio of 1 adult to 5 children at the moment we have four adults who are able to join us.

Please let your child's class teacher know if you can come and help!

Kapa Haka and Pasifika Group - Upcoming Performances

Please put the following dates in your diaries. Hereora Cultural Festival: Mon/Tues 11-12th September Junior and Senior Kapa Haka and Pasifika Groups, 6pm at the Aurora Centre. Tūhono Kapa Haka Competition: Fri 22nd September Senior Kapa Haka Performance Group, 4pm at Hillview Christian School. Tickets and performance details for the Hereora Festival will come home next Thursday, and the following Thursday for Tūhono. We had great fun drumming some rhythms this week when "Rhythm Interactive" visited. Everyone had a drum, it was awesome!

Cross country on Monday...

Just a quick reminder that on Monday children can wear house colours or usual uniform for cross country. Please make sure that your child is wearing appropriate clothing/footwear and has a drink bottle and a warm jacket as we will be out supporting the other teams. See you Monday!

Our People, Our Place

The Waipuna Team for our Inquiry have made some collage farms depicting "Our Place" in New Zealand.

Bearded Dragon Visits Waipuna Team

Whaea Debby brought her pet bearded dragon called Lizzie in to visit the Waipuna Team this morning. We all got to have a pat of her if we were brave enough!!
